Stats:
sGPA: 3.4
cGPA: 3.6
MCAT: 25 (doing an MCAT prep course will take it again sometime between Jan-Apr of 2016)
EC: ER volunteer 200+ hrs, Physician shadowing 100+ hrs, food pantry and make a wish volunteer 100+ hrs,
1 yr of biomedical research so far (will be two in total), Research assistant at cancer lab 1.5 yrs, math tutor 4 yrs.

So I am planning out my two gap years and trying to determine if I should do an SMP to boost my GPA or if it is good enough as long as I can score really well on the MCAT and apply as early as possible? This is really a rough draft, I still want to do more research on this. I live in Florida so I was looking into:
- Barry University
- USF
- Larkin

Out of state ones:
- Drexel
- BU
- Eastern Virginia
- Mercer

There is also the NIH IRTA program I heard about, and I was not sure if it was too early to apply and I know they are on the rolling basis but most likely I would not get in until the summer 2016 when people are starting to leave. My other option because I would like to do more research is take up this Research assistant job at UM and possibly just shadowing more doctors to get more clinical experience.

Thanks in advance for advice!
