I am sure there are 100 posts like this one, but I didn't feel like searching through all of the posts.

Did anyone here do an SMP before med school, and are now in med school? If so, what were your stats before the SMP? (If you don't mid sharing. You can pm me if you want) I just wanted to know what I have to do to get into and SMP, cause I think that may be my only way to get into Med School. Either way I am going to try my best to get A's in my science courses, (doing an informal post bacc), but I wanted to know what the average GPA and MCAT scores are for the programs.

Hi Faze, u can check my mdapps for my stats. The avg GPAs seem to be between 3.0-3.4 dependeing on the program and MCAT minimum is 27 for the higher end programs. My programs avg score is somewhere around a 31-32 (more like 32 is my guess). This varies from program to program. Feel free to check out the official SMP thread I stickied up above. good luck!
