Hey everyone. Right now we're already halfway through the application process and from the 15 schools I've applied to, 5 of them have already given me the cold shoulder. ;[
So to increase my chances of getting in the next cycle, if I don't get into this ds this cycle, i've browsed and delved through all the forums, threads, and posts for anything about SMPs for dentistry and all I've come up with is some information but nothing too definite.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light onto SMPs? First off, is now (December, 7th 2009) the best time to start getting all my stuff ready for SMPs? Second which schools would be impressive to dental schools when you apply to them with the masters degree in your hand. Thirdly, what's the best cost/reputation school you could apply to. And finally, what in the world should I do if I have to take the DATs again. . . I really don't want to have to take them again. hahah

I highly doubt you need to enter a SMP. you're DAT is amazing, have some patience and you will hear back from schools. You'll be fine

thanks. does anyone else have any suggestions? because from what I've been seeing, everyone's DATs have gone up tremendously and not only that... their gpas are already significantly higher than mine.
