Which DO schools have a masters program that offers direct admission to the medical school if you get a certain GPA? I would really appreciate the help!

PS. I tried doing a search but had trouble finding anything. If you have a link to another thread where is was discussed please copy it over

The only advertised direct ADMISSION program is Western's SMP w/ linkage. It is two separate entities though so you can be accepted to the SMP and not get the linkage (only 10 students, just under half, actually get it)

Other schools advertise a guaranteed interview. I know Touro-Ca and Touro-NV do this. I'm not sure about others.

That said, many of the students who attend any school's SMP have a high rate of acceptance due to the schools familiarity with the applicant as well as the coursework they have completed (if they are very successful)

With KCOM you get an interview, but it's more-or-less an acceptance as I don't think anyone in recent history has not been accepted. They also let you count your courses toward the DO so you can ease in to your first year. This may change, however, if the curriculum changes, which has been the talk.

NSU has one, but if you can find info a out it you are a better googles than I. I only know about it because their admissions person told me about it at an event at my school. It may just be offered to those that are on the cusp of acceptance and rejection. It's a 2 year program but if you get all As the. The 2nd year you are enrolled with the first year class the following year and you get to keep those credits and if you don't get straight As but maintain all Bs then they put you in the 1st year class as well but you have to start from the beginning with the new MS-1s.
