You're going to really like it.
It's definitely not a movie to see at home if you have a short attention span because it's long and slow.
It's a lot like Skina where you either love it it's the best movie you've seen or it's two and a half hours of unusable b-roll

i see mark’s vision with the film. but where he lost me was trying to create a backstory for his character. i think the cinematography is beautiful, and i love body horror and don’t mind gore (my discord banner says gore *****). but the backstory was just…confusing.
i think it should have been a liiittle bit shorter. but! people are saying that that’s the entire point. you’re trapped hundreds of feet below the surface, all alone. time has no structure down there, so you are stuck with him in this vessel experiencing the boredom, agony and mind-****ery together. almost like how you actually would if you were infact down there.

Yeah, but I do wonder how much of the backstory is from him and how much is from David Szymanski.
I agree it could have been a touch shorter, but I personally don’t know what I would cut.
All in all, I’m excited to see where he goes from here. The acting was a lot better than in Edge of Sleep: he's obviously got talent.
I was hoping he’d do Mortuary Assistant next but that’s already in pre-pro
