Snail mail secondaries?

Has anyone received a secondary ONLY through regular mail? It just occurred to me that I will be away from my apartment all summer long!

It happens, but it's rare. I think most of the snail mail secondaries (and they didn't make up more than 15% or so) came (eventually) with an e-mail that said they were sending a secondary (and send us $50!). But you'll definitely want to find someone to retrieve your mail for you every couple days just in case.
