Apparently there's a new phenomenon called Snapchat Dysmorphia where people, usually female teens, are requesting plastic surgeons to alter them to look like their Snapchat image filters. This raises the ethical question of where do plastic surgeons draw the line when a patient requests an alteration? What's considered acceptable for alteration and where is that line drawn? Is it simply based on what is achievable, or do you insert a deeper measure of appropriateness?
