So are PD's mostly done ranking?

[Chinnychin]

I know the deadline for PD's and us is a couple weeks or few weeks away but do you think PD's are pretty much done with their lists or atleast know who they are going to rank in matchable/higher slots even if it has not been put on paper?

Also does anyone know if it is a vote with majority ruling for putting students in certain slots or does the PD just take advice from fellow people on the comittee but ultimately make the final decision? Just curious.

Doubtful... people are still interviewing at many programs. But i'm sure they have a running list of sorts at this point.

totally depends on the program. but i'd say most programs have the final list together by mid-feb. as far as who has the final say, it's honestly probably the person who puts it into the computer... 🙂
