So I just took the 2009 practice DAT and scored the following on SNS:
BIO: 18
GC: 19
OC: 18

I am so upset. I've been studying for 2.5 months nonstop and my test is on Thursday. Should I postpone? I already postponed once when I got sick 🙁 it's so late in the cycle already.

Really? That makes me feel much better 🙂. I'm trying not to let the scores upset me but everyone on here always says how the 2009 is either easier than or equal to the real DAT :-/. Thanks for the encouragement!

Remember no timed test can determine what you will get on the DAT. Your scores indicate you have a good working knowledge, but keep reviewing what you got wrong on the 2009, was it lack of knowledge or did you make silly mistakes? If it was silly mistakes it should be a wake up call to be more careful on the real exam, lack of knowledge go back and review any areas of weakness.

I am in the EXACT situation as you! I have been studying constantly since end of May. My test is scheduled for Thursday as well and today I paid for the 2009 test online but 40 questions in, the site when down and my test continued to run. Luckily I was able to continue with a PDF version I found online. However, after finishing, I did not score as high as I had hoped. Bio-20 GC-17 OC-17. Lately I have been scoring better in GC and OC than bio so that was strange. I also notices a few questions and read on here how there are several mistakes in the 2009 DAT so I am not too sure if I should take this test into too much consideration. I thought this test would help boost my confidence but it almost makes me feel like I need to reschedule now!

I'm going to be honest with both of you. There are no tests that can truly determine what your score will be. The practice tests are pretty much there to simulate what your test environment will be like. If you are confident in your material and feel good about how you're taking the test then you are ready. My practice test scores were within the range that I ended up doing on the test. Be confident in yourself. If you've been studying diligently for a few months, trust that you are ready to shine!

I believe in you! Now go believe in yourselves! :claps:
