How long after starting can you use you vacation if you interned there through school?

How do you "apply" for vacation?

If there any sort of limit to how many days in a row you can take off?

Say I take 10 days off... but I would have normally only worked 7 out of those 10 days, does it only use up 7 days of vacation?

Reason I ask is I want to go to Europe but if I just take a week off I'll lose 2 days traveling which would make it a pretty tight schedule

I'm also hoping to start out at 3 weeks vacation but I don't know if my time interning counts for anything 🙁

Try a search, it was talked about adnosium last year I believe

If you were doing IPPEs or APPEs at CVS that doesn't count towards year of service. However, if you worked for CVS as an intern while going to school, then it counts. You can check how much vacation you have on myhr. It's calculated using your base.

In my area, you start with 2 weeks and after 5 years of employment you get 3 weeks. You fill out a form with the dates and # of hours you want off that week, have your PIC sign it, and fax it to you scheduler. Whether or not they approve it is another issue. You don't have to request off for days you're not scheduled to work because you're not expected to work those days int he first place (assuming your staff at a store with a set schedule. Floaters have irregular schedules so idk how that works). You can always ask your partners if they're willing to swap shifts with you so you can extend your vacation. I like to take long vacations and they're always at least 9-10 days.

Tbh, don't expect to be able to take super long vacations because more than likely it won't be approved or not all the days you want will be approved. This is when having a good relationships with other pharmacist in your area comes in handy. If they don't approve the day off, you can find someone to cover you on your won.
