I finally decided to call up each school I applied to and tell them I'm retaking.
I know, that doesn't sound like anything amazing, but now I'm freaked out even MORE.

Some places put holds on my app, some just made a note in the file, and others were like, whatever scores gets to the committee is the one they'll see.....
how UNFAIR is that?!

Anyway, I hope and pray that Oct. won't be too late for better DAT for Maryland....

I think retaking definitely shows your determination even to schools that you are planning to retake the DAT, and that you know its importance!

Yeah, we did take it the same day, and our Bio sections were....DEATH!!!!!
I was so confident about it, and got wrecked...

Yeah I agree =/. I mean we all get an entire year to take the DAT but most of us (including me) procrastinate until july/august of the year we are applying to take it which doesn't give us much room for error. So its not unfair for schools to choose applicants who have their stuff ready to go and not have to wait to get everything in. Hopefully things go better the second time around.
