Hey all, i was wondering what i should do from here.... Basically here is my story, Graduated with a 3.32 GPA, 3.4 Sci, Did a post bac program and got a 3.6, Got a 29 on my MCATS (10bio/9PS/10verb). I have a ton of ECs i work full time at a major cancer hospital in boston etc.... I just got waitlisted at drexel. I searched the board for this topic from last year and it seems as though nothing happens till the summer. What the hell should i do? Do people that are put on the waitlist very early in the fall have a better shot than those in the spring/summer? Is it the same wait list or is this some sort of hold/further review later on? I have had 4 interviews so far (BU/NYMED/SUNY Downstate/Drexel) and one more in december at albany. I know i need to send some sort of letter of intent, but i dont know when i should do that... Anyone have any advice?

😕

if you are on the wait list early enough it means you have an early spot on the wait list. drexel has a lot of movement in its wait list bc it accepts alot of ppl who choose to not go there. you wont really know anything till may though when everyone has to make their decision. alot of ppl are holding multiple acceptances at this time. good luck

It's just a waiting game from here on out... it sucks... I know people who were only on one waitlist last year and ended up getting in.. and then I know I ended up with 10 interviews a pile of waitlists and here I am applying again...

good luck!

When does most waitlist movement start? May? From what I hear, all you can really do now is continue to let them know you're interested.

Some movement before May, but from my research the most movement begins in May. This part of the process is THE WORST. And being put on waitlist early doesn't mean your chances of coming off are better - most, if not all, waitlists are ranked and when you get put on doesn't matter.

Anyway...waitlists suck. The May 15th thing sucks even more. The post from guy above who had a ton of waitlists and didn't get in and is reapplying is scaring the crap out of me.

😕

Keep the faith...

I'll bet money you get in. your stats are good and overall... s'all good. drexel is a good waitlister school. you got it. u could send in additional LOR if u want.

is " your file be reviewed later" also a waitlist..or they just dont feel like loking at me till next semester?

better question stem:
what does " we will review your file at a latter date, in light of your current grades" mean?

waitlist?
hold?
they dont want to deal with me now bc they have a migrain?
