I heard that due to a problem experienced over the weekend, the NBME will most likely postpone one more week. They are not posting that yet though b/c it's not "final".

If you log into the NBME website where they post score reports it now states that there may be delays trying to log in because of the large numbers of scores released tomorrow.

Their IT people must be as incompetent as those at our school. Regardless, they are only talking about a delay of a few hours ("later in the day"), not a week.

I wasn't agreeing with the 1 week delay post just pointing out that scores are still on track for release tomorrow. And if they think I'll calmly walk away from my computer if I can't log in and try again in the evening... Soooo not gonna happen.

I heard i got a 255 on step 1. but it turns out it was just the voices in my head.

I don't know why IT people think it's acceptable to plan to fail in situations of high server demand. Apple has done this too--with every iPhone intro they have had inadequate activation server capacity. These people are lucky they don't work for me.
