1) They don't like @KnightDoc
-Like, at all.
2) Hive mentality
-You best not say something unpopular (no matter how true it is). Not only will they downvote you because they don't like your reason-based opinion, but they will also stalk your entire post history on Reddit. Its very bizarre.
3) A little too many high-schoolers posting
-In the month I was a participant, I saw several high school students posting about asking for advice for the MCAT and a handful had not even taken the ACT / SAT yet. Fortunately, several people turned them away with the advice to just enjoy life now and not worry about Premed until one is actually in college.
4) If you mention that certain races have an easier/harder time getting into medical school, you will be killed.
-That is not to say not everyone who got in didn't 100% deserve it. Obviously if one got into medical school they deserve to be there with full marks. But if you point to studies showing certain races can score lower on MCAT/GPA and still matriculate compared to other races (especially those of Asian descent, which is unfortunate) then you will be lit on fire. They don't care that you weren't ill-meaning. I've seen several people simply point out that for some, it can be easier to get in than for other races only to have 10+ people respond trying to attack them. See point # 2.
5) Don't say something positive about SDN, this is another reason they will happily gang-up on you.
-And then stalk your post history. Again, see point # 2.
