...so I have this Rastafarian-esque idiots that aren't really my friends as much as they are unfortunate aquaintences.
Long story short, they start talking about medical marijuana. They say Marinol isn't good enough because a person experiencing nausea can't take a capsule. Fair enough, I suppose. Of course, they could take Zofran injectable, because, you know, it works better, but who am I to destroy their happy hashish fantasy world.
Anyway, this got me thinking. Why isn't there a Marinol nebulizer sol'n? I remember from Med Chem that THC was a rather lipophilic drug, so I suppose formulating an emulsion may present a problem, but it can't be that big of a deal if marijuana water vaporizers exist. Heck, how about a Marinol MDI? This would introduce a new dosage form that would have utility in an amazingly tiny patient population that would allow me to exploit the idiocy of physicians into writing for the soln. You know how docs like new stuff that isn't an improvement over previous editions. Xopenex flies off shelves.
I'll be the hero of about 15 actual sick people and stoners the world over.
