Called in and they basically said that 75 out of 90 people accepted their offer (sent in deposits) and that they sent out 25 more acceptances for the remaining spaces....
I am very dissapointed now because obviously I'm not one of those acceptances and I interviewed early January (they said the additional acceptances were sent to people who interviewed back in december)... This really sucks because I did their gateway program and really loved the school and everyone is so friendly there. I was hoping that I would at least get an acceptance from them...

Any1 know what the statistics are for people who send in deposits that end up not going?

dont worry,I got accepted into UMDNJ and actually is going to turn it down(I did send deposit btw), so there will be one more spot open!!!Hang in there!

You say you aren't one of the acceptances because you haven't gotten a letter yet?

It took over a week for me to get my letter because the first time it was sent out the address label was cut too short and the post office sent it back to the school.

They finally called me back that week and said, 'We know why you don't have it yet... because it's here on this desk.'

No.. I called them and they haven't sent any letters to me yet... Interviewed over 3 weeks ago...

I got my acceptance on about Jan 16th (so it must have been mailed out Jan 12-13 or so). They gave me about a month to send the deposit, its due by Feb 12th. I think they sent out acceptances at diff times to diff people cuz someone got theirs a week before me.

I heard that they'll be sending acceptances after the 12th when they know who has accepted their acceptance from this round. I love the school, and am keeping my fingers crossed...

if anyone is holding a spot they know they don't want, please let them know asap. good karma will follow. 😀

I was interviewed on December 1st and I still haven't heard anything...
After reading this post I decided to call Sandie again to see if they are gonna mail me anything, and she told me she's send me something TOMORROW!
I was too depressed to ask her if it's an rejection but I guess it is...
