Just wondering what number batch I will be in if my app goes out this week on 8/17? Its good to finally get in the game and get those interview requests that have been held up till my application got sent out.

I believe the seventh, the fourth batch was sent out on July 27th. Good luck!

Thats not too bad...as for good luck, I will take all I can get. I am just waiting for aadsas to be done processing my app which got the last transcript in last thursday 8/9.

Oops, you were right, my bad. The fourth batch was July 20, so the eighth batch this friday. Sorry about that.

I am in GA and applied to GA and hope to attend GA but I got more pull at other schools so we will see

...and how long to get the transcripts reviewed so app can go out. Most were already reviewed from last years cycle so really all they gotta review is transcripts from last 2 semesters.

Son of a...They havent finished processing my transcripts to calculate GPA over at AADSAS. They have had it since 8/9 and I was hoping it would go out today. Hopefully next week it will go out. I hate the idea of interviews going on and my application hasnt even gone out yet.

FINALLY, I s/w AADSAS rep and they said app will go out tomorrow so I guess I am in batch 9? Now I can get those interview requests and get this show on the road. No idea which school I plan to go to unless I get in to the state school which is my preference. That or maybe one in Fl which is closer to my parents so I could stay with them for free and doesnt hurt to have laundry and food taken care of as well. Im pretty sure I will get in somewhere but I am looking to say as close to family as possible.

You might have to do supplemental applications depending on where you applied. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

I think there will be lots of supplementals, I already did the ones that were supposed to be completed when submitting the AADSAS app. Penn had some essay questions which took a little while but got those knocked out and looking to keep the ball rolling.

Most schools that I applied to were pretty fast with their secondary email responses. I actually have done all the supplementals for the schools that I applied to except for Penn!! I've just been giving priority to all the other schools more "feasible" schools but I have to start working on that lengthy secondary asap =/

Well I categorize it in essay as they were asking for special circumstances blah blah....basically write your story other than what you covered in PS.....BUT You can call it open ended questions too.

5th batch was 7/27...6th was 8/3....7th was....8/10......8th was 8/17.....9th is going out today....check your status...and u will see mailed out date if it is forwarded to schools.

well, not exactly. the question is asking for any "special circumstances", i.e. grade discrepancies, interrupted studies, personal problems that may have altered your academic performance. at least thats what a rep. from nova told me

May be you right...I just wrote my story how it effected me.....initially I thought is asking for any disadvantaged circumstances....but then I called and. They told me you can write any thing here.

I did apply to Nova and Midwestern, I will get those essays squared away once they send me the email (unless I just get a str8 rejection). I didnt plan on applying to Penn cause it is way above my pay grade (my stats are below avg) but as the saying goes "you cant win the lottery if you dont buy a ticket". Mainly I just selected schools by choosing the ones with the lowest avg gpa and dat admissions and then threw a few in as "why not" schools.

I did almost the same.....but every cycle is different ...hopefully more interviews coming our way...classes starting from Monday so I think I have more things to focus on other the insanely waiting.....and my pharmacology class is getting my attention. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US !!!!!!!
