anyone SOAPing for PGY1? I matched into an advanced program and SOAPing for PGY-1 in surgery and medicine. Anyone has heard anything from the programs? Thanks.

don't freak out. It normal not to hear anything. Some programs get overwhelmed with applications and may need time to go through them before calling applicants. Hang in there and good-luck. I've been in your shoes

Thank you so much Megaas. I am wondering that some programs may pick the candidates that they really want in round 1 and then second round the ones that are ok and with connections?
