So in my degree program, at my school, it lists "American History to 1877" and "American History from 1877" under the Social/Behavioral Science Requirement...... are these schools that have this requirement going to accept this? I tried pulling up the AACOMAS instructions to check but it would not open on this computer.

I wouldn't personally want to risk the headache of it for a course that would be a pretty easy A. Imagine how horrible it would suck to get accepted and then during the school's transcript audit they see history vs social science and reject or delay you from entering.

But if you have the syllabus showing how it was somehow a social science class then it might would count, just do you want to have to debate it during interviews vs discussing why you want to be in their med school. You could always take a social science after submitting apps if you're in that process this year.

That's what I am planning on doing. What do I need to do in order to let schools know this? Throw a random class in the prerequisites on AACOMAS?

AACOMAS has instructions for noting classes you are registered for but haven't yet taken. I remember seeing instructions under transcript entry I think but didn't attend to such as I didn't need it. Many people apply prior to fulfilling all requirements.

Daughter took 2 classes for Behavioral Science, 4 units (semester) & 3 units (quarter). After converting into semester and verified at AACOMAS, it shows 5.67 units. Some school requires 6 units and some requires 2 courses. Does it mean she has to take one more class in order to fulfill the requirement? Where some school requires 2 courses, it should be ok?

Anyone one into same issue?

I think it would be perfectly fine, however to avoid wasted time and money I would contact individual schools.

Honestly I reached out to maybe about ten schools about the behavioral sciences requirement and most of them basically told me not to worry about it and that they would find something in my courses to fit the requirement as long as I had completed a bachelor's degree.
