The OpenEM Foundation (guys behind wikem.org) have launched a beta of a social network for emergency medicine at emtalk.org Basically it seems like a twitter like network with forums so that docs can control their own network. Although in similar spirit to StudentDoctor it's focus seems more on med education and knowledge sharing not medical school and residency discussion.
