CCOM MIDWESTERN tells the writer of reccomendation to mention both the canidates name and social security number on their letter.

IF your professor or doctor forgets to do that? will that slow down the process, will they have to resend it?

How would one ameliorate that situation? Send it again? Call the school and let them know that i have letters coming in from these two people and they are mine?

Well lol paranoid old self me, I just called them, (shuda done that in the first place) and they said its just a backup plan the SS#, they said there are bound to be applicants with the same name, same last name, but I sent mine through interfolio so it gives the identifying information anyways i guess

I was worried as to if it will slow down the process, the lady really just wanted me to not worry and she said it has no affect on processing speed, just maybe it might take 2 more mins to look my name up!

man great people at CCOM office of Admissions, not even saying to suck up, just felt so releived, its so funny how the littlest things can make us go crazy! hahahahahah i really hope i get in there!

You don't need to put the entire SS#, only the last 4 digits will suffice. Also put the email address you use for AACOMAS.

You don't need to worry about it being a delay, just call the admissions office and ask if they have your file complete, if not ask about the prof's or doc's LOR missing due to them not putting SS#. Then if those LOR are missing, have your prof & doc add the necessary info and mail them together in a bigger envelope to expediate the process. Meaning, you take 2 sealed enveloples and mail them in a larger envelope, remember do not open the letters, assuming you signed a waiver form.

Don't use priority mailing, its overpriced at $14, use regular mail which takes 3 business days to arrive and will cost only 64cents plus 50cents for the envelope (9.5 x 12 get it at the USPS).

If you need any help, feel free to PM and I will do what I can.
