Solo Anesthesia practice

I used to have a solo anesthesia practice. I was credentialed at 13 different facilities. I had a diverse practice ranging from hearts to endo. No one in my community has that option any longer. Does anyone know if solo anesthesiologists still exist in the U.S. and where?

Yes. Out West. I lived in Vegas and was independent till recently.

Well Vegas is one of the few places where anesthesia works with certain surgeons only ie they go to different facilities but work with the same surgeon. That doesn't happen in most of the US. Being independent in Vegas makes sense especially since some of the groups stink too.

Yeah out west. Some areas that come to mind are California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, etc.
