Can you please explain that statement. ThanksAcids increase acidity in bases, bases increase acidity in acids.
compounds are readily soluble when the oxygen or nitrogen to carbon ration is 1:5 or lower. That is , one oxygen will cancel out up to 5 carbons. I'll check on this in my organic book when i get home but i think that is correct.
