I kid you not. I had a patient call last night and asked if we stocked it. I of course thought she had been dipping into her stash too much. Low and behold I did a google search and found this.

www.soma250.com

Directly from the web site "Powerful medications for acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions can make you feel drowsy. SOMA 250 mg offers powerful relief with less drowsiness."

A generic drug that has been out for 50 years and the drug company finds a way to jack up the price.

Soma 250 cost = $242.47 for a bottle of 100

Carisoprodol 350 cost = $18.50 FOR A BOTTLE OF 500!!!!

I hate big pharma....

This company is the worst of the worst. Formerly or associated with Wallace Labs. They were charging around $300.00 for 100 Meprobamate when you could buy a 1000 generic for less than $20.00. This is nothing new for them....

I wish I could blame that on them, but alas they are not guilty.....

it seems like the only valid products they make are astelin and optivar. Everything is some crappy combo cold product. None of the Junkies would want soma 250. They just want the "Dans"

We've had the bottles in stock now for two weeks and have yet to see a script for it. My doctor asked me if I wanted to try it, but I'll stick to my generic Soma. I doubt if it will be covered by insurance, either.

I heard that a lot of docs would mistakenly write for Soma 250 before it was ever available, then pharmacist would dispense the 350 mg tabs. So, could this be a way to capitalize on errors?
