Hi all. First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Stats::
Biology Major (2.8-3.0) gpa. Pre-req gpa (3.3). i know it's bad 🙁

GRE 140V, 143Q& 4AW. (first time taking it) 🙁

800+ hours in outpatient clinic as pt tech(still working) . 100+hours in adult rehab center volunteer.

References: 2PTs, 1 Instructor & 1 Supervisor

Programs of interest: University of St Augustine, University of the Incarnate Word, University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Please any tips/recommendations are welcomed.

UNT doesnt look at GRE scores, but they definitely look at high GPAs as one factor. They are more holistic so that may help. However, UIW does put a lot of emphasis on GRE scores. Look at all the schools information very carefully. Often, if minimum requirements aren't met, they will not evaluate the whole application.

As the two folks above me have mentioned, maybe look into retaking some classes. If you're wary of taking them at the university you're at now, maybe look into a community college nearby.

As far as volunteering goes, do you have any volunteer experience to put on your resume?

The GRE just requires time and consistent studying. I did better than your first try, but not by much, and I blame it on my laziness and lack of preparation.

Good luck!

Yes I have different volunteer hours that all are medical related, but not pt. I also have an internship (no pay) and volunteered in a low income clinic in mexico. Not going to lie I did not study for the GRE 🙁
