Hi all,
I would like some educated advice: I am currently applying to Caribbean schools. So far I have applied to: SGU, SABA, ROSS, AUC. I take the MCAT this January and will later find out if I get into one of these "Big Four" schools. However, I also applied to The University of Health and Medical Sciences and gained acceptance. Can anyone give me their insight on this school? Furthermore, could anymore offer insight on the following: Xavier University, Belize - American Global University School Of Medicine, Belize - CAHSU, Belize - InterAmerican School of Medical Science, Corozal Town, Bonaire - Saint James School of Medicine, Curacao - SMU - Saint Martinus University Faculty of Medicine, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands - St. Matthew's University, St Lucia - IAU - International American University College of Medicine.
Thank you!

Please do not attend UMHS. They do not have any loans and are going through a sticky situation right now. The school is too new to put yourself at risk. If you have the grades, please stick to the big 4. A school that does not requires the MCAT seems to raise a red flag to me.

Check out valuemd for more info about all of the other schools you are inquiring about.

If you are going to the caribbean, it would only worth it to apply to the big 4 and may be St Matthews, MUA in Nevis . Applying/attending any other school would be a BIG GAMBLE with your future.

You don't even know your score for the MCAT so I don't think you should limit yourself right from the beginning to the BIG4 for instance. Apply to US schools (even DO schools) if you're a US citizen.

Hey have you started any of the mentioned schools as yet... am Student Affairs Manager at CAHSU, Belize Medical College... would love to assist you.... email me [email protected].... will definately guide you!
