Hey, there is a current dilemma I am going through and seeing as how my goal in the end is to get to Med-School, why not just ask the current students in medschool.
Anyways my rationale for asking this question is quite primitive but the questions is very signficant in regards to my growth not only as a human being but also as a student.
"Sometimes i find myself demotivate and not studying, this is not due to a lack of focus since when I am wasting this said time, I still have a eerie feeling reminding me that time is being wasted and I have a midterm tomorrow, yet i am still transfixed into whatever activity that is causing the wastage of time."
In these situations what do you do, the reason why i ask you guys this is because it is a well known fact that the contributing factor towards the great difficulty of medical school arises from the fact that there is a tremendous volume of information that must be read/retained in a very short amount of time. Therefore it is safe to say that sometimes you guys just dont feel like reading after the 10th hour. What drives you to move past this? since you were also once undergrads this sort of thing might have happened to you before as well granted back than you weren't trying to push past the 10th hour.
In the same notion of things, my biggest dilemma is the actual movement/action that instigates a studying environment. Essentially, the initiation phase. I cant seem to want to find time and stay on top of things, it is always cramming or procrastination that leads towards making notes/reviewing a few days before the exam instead of on the appropriate time.
Studying habits of mine are quite minimal, I dont want to get too much into it since it varies from person to person and generally i get the exact same response but if anyone wants to share how they study in medschool right now it would be highly appreciative. I want to get into the habit of developing efficient studying habits right now.
If you took the time to bother to read this, than you so much and whatever advice you can give me it would be highly appreciated.
