1. what reagent converts CN --> COOH

2. I know that O3, CH2Cl2 with Zn/H20 converts alkenes to aldehydes because the Zn stops COOH from forming.
But how does O3, CH2Cl2 and NaOH, CH3OH convert alkenes to alcohols???

3. how does O3/H20 convert alkynes to carboxylic acids???
