How are we supposed to know that both objects arent on one flat level, ones higher than the other...
and if you check out the 5th pic of the explanation, i rotated and say that it actually shows the back as being longer ....not the object at the front...

and for this one...how do we know that behind the block (arrow pointing to it) its empty....as in the flat row is not 6 cubes....
anyone get what i mean
how can i tell its empty and not full?
 
For the keyhole: The two pieces are right up next to each other and are of equal width. Try taking two books of similar width and lining them up as close as you can to what you see on the figure, then physically rotate your head/the books to see that they don't, in fact, line up on a flat bottom plane.

For the cubes: If you can't see a part of the cube and if said imaginary cube isn't supporting a tower of cubes, it's not there. The only cubes you'll get that aren't visible are the ones supporting other cubes.
