Some silly NBDE questions

Hello there, I don't know much about the NBDE, so these questions will sound stupid to most of you. First, is it possible to apply to a college in the US for the DDS if you haven't actually completed the NBDE Part 1 at the time of application? I assume not. The NBDE would take about 6 months to do from now and by then the applications stage for admission in summer 2008 would have been closed. So I assume that 2009 is the earliest time for admission if the NBDE was done now. Secondly, is it possible to prepare for the NBDE Part 1 outside the US, and roughly how long does it take for Indian BDS graduates? I was thinking 6 months to prepare, and that all the prep could be done outside the US but that it would be necessary to visit the US to sit the exams.

No u cant apply to the schools in US for the DDS until and unless u have donr the NBDE cux the score are required for everything...
yeah u can prepare for the NBDE outside US...i think around 5-6 months shud be fine...u might need to go for the prep classes thou...and yes you need to be in US to give the exam....hope this answers ur qs....all the best...👍
