Make sure when you are writing your essays you save...often.

I just spent quite a bit of time writing my essays for RVU-COM and when I hit submit, the portal logged me off for inactivity. Don't repeat my mistake.

I second that, but maybe think we should have stated this in the RVUCOM thread. Exact same thing happened to me. I had to write my essays 3 times for RVU today because they kept erasing. Finally I became smart and saved them on a word. Not sure why I didn't do that the first time, but I think since It's my last secondary, I became lazy 🙄

This is why I always write essays in MS Word and then copy/paste (or re-type if necessary like stupid Jefferson's secondary lol).

+1... I also make sure that I put everything into word. First, its good for spelling and such. Second, they could lose your stuff and you may have to redo the whole thing. Or your application could time out! Eeek.

It's also nice because a lot of schools have similar questions. If you save your essays, you can usually go back and rework some of them to work for a couple of different applications.
