Hi people plz give some suggestions or some good site to look for dental admission essay and perosnal statements.
What all things do u think would be helpful to include in SOP ? Give suggestions and examples or samples.......

jus write abt ur personal experiences, why u are interested in dentistry and any extra-curricular activities u did (related to dentistry) , ur goals and why u want to join the program.

How is everyone writing 1 page personal statements? It is almost impossible to write about yourself in only 1 page! What is everyone focusing on? dental experience or goals? or maybe why you are interested in dentistry? Those answers can be very long since the questions are somewhat general.

I can completely understand what you are going through but you can't do much about it if they have a word limit.

Try writing everything u want to mention and then start eliminating what you think is least important (comparatively) till you reduce it to one page 😀

I know its not that simple but try it.

hey thanx for the advice. BTW, Do you know if UCSF , UOP , USC and UCLA have word limits? oh, and another thing...can we use 11 font instead of 12? thanx!

Yes, it is possible, my statement is 1 page long, my CV 2 pages.

In case of UCLA,u have to finish it in one page(the space provided in the application),USC does have word limit in its online application.I don't think UCSF has any word limit,correct me if I am wrong.

thanx guys for the response! I think UCSF is unlimited. It does not have any inidication of limit to answers to questions. I have one more question...Is it neccessary to have ECE send the evaluation to UCSF? Can I just add the extra sealed copy that was sent to me and include it in the packet? thanx again guys!

i think they want it that way (official) but u can always call up and check.I think they will accept it since its sealed.
