SOPHAS Transcripts question

Hey guys!

I had a question about requesting transcripts to be sent to SOPHAS. About how long does it take for SOPHAS to receive and verify that they have received your transcripts? I want to send them ASAP, but I also want to wait until I have a grade for my first-session class on there as well (hoping a bit of a gpa boost lol) which I will get a grade for in 3-4 weeks. Is waiting 3-4 weeks from now too late to send the transcripts in order to make the Dec. 1st deadlines of most schools?

Your transcripts should arrive to SOPHAS within two weeks. They will probably come before that, but I think two weeks is a good cushion. Then, you want to submit your application about five weeks in advance to give SOPHAS plenty of time to verify it. So if December 1st is your first deadline, you should try to order your transcripts by the second week of October. I don't know if that is enough time, but it is better to not have the grade boost than to wait for it and be too late. You can always try to send in complete copies of your transcripts later.
