im debating whether i should include my sorority in my work/activites section of amcas apps. I did a lot of volunteering and was also mental health chair. Should i list it as leadership or community service? Leave it out all together? I'm afraid adcoms may look down upon greek life.

if you mention the mental health part, I would maybe emphasize the fact that you weren’t actually giving care as doing so maybe perceived as practicing w/o proper licensee

Being mental health chair is certainly leadership and I highly doubt that anyone would consider that to be "practicing without a license". Bringing awareness to health issues, helping to remove stigma, and identifying resources available for those needing care are the sort of thing I would see someone in that role doing. It is certainly worth mentioning. You could separate out the service/volunteering done in the broader community as "volunteer non-clinical".

i saw sorority involvement very frequently. Definitely do what we recommend: tease out the community service and leadership roles specifically. (I presume being mental health chair is all about wellness practices and not diagnosis... kinda like a student health chair.)

YMMV, but I wrote about my leadership roles and volunteering opportunities within my sorority on AMCAS and very extensively in secondaries. I didn't experience any difficulties (MS2 now) just make sure to frame it correctly.
