Is there a significant difference between Moore's Essential Clinical Anatomy versus Moore's Clinically Oriented Anatomy? Is one better than the other?

Those books are referred to as Baby Moore and Big Moore respectively. Whether one is better or not is arguable. Baby Moore is a lot more concise. It covers all of the anatomy, but not in quite as much detail. Some people find it less dense and easier to study from. However, the illustrations are not as good in Baby Moore, and it doesn't include some of the famous "blue boxes" that Big Moore has. If you choose to go with Baby Moore, make sure you still read all of the blue boxes from a copy of Big Moore.

I have Big Moore. I did not have enough time to read Big Moore during anatomy.

I am nervous using baby Moore (the one I bought), does anyone feel like it misses critical info that is in the BIG Moore?

Where is that vomit icon?

If your curriculum is anything like mine, you won't have time to read either.

I bought our recommended text - Gray's - and it was HORRIFIC. My scores went up when I stopped reading it and focused on the dissector, atlas, and class notes. It really does depend on your school, though, so talking to your own MS2's would be the best thing if possible.

Talk to the MS2s at your school. At mine, the blue boxes tended to pop up a lot on tests so I would always read all of them in the week leading up to a written exam. I used the text mostly as a reference, I rarely sat down and read an entire chapter or anything like that.
