How long is the AACOMAS personal statement? I just did a really ROUGH draft and I have a feeling it is entirely too long.

Thank you.
Is that with or without spaces?
Spaces are never counted as characters...
Spaces count.Thank you.

I also agree that spaces count. If you want, you could actually open up an account on AACOMAS and begin filling out information w/o actually submitting the application. If someone else would like to verify, I think that the information you store in this application cycle can be transferred and also be used when filling out the application for the next cycle.
You can still use the Google SDN search function (I think everyone has access to this...)

Thanks. It was a couple of days before I realized this.

Ummm...I don't know if you are applying for 2010, but if aacomas takes 6 weeks for verification, won't that put you past most of the deadlines?

Touche. Good call.
Touche. Good call.
It's actually in the NOTICES box up at the top of your screen...but a lot of us missed it.
Thank you.

Spaces do count. I copied and pasted my PS into word to double check. I finished at 4460 with spaces.
It's actually a ton of room, you just have to write efficiently. I wrote my AMCAS PS 1st, and was able to use the same one with just going through and rewording/taking out some words--I find THAT I use "that" when I don't have to. See how the sentence still works?😀 Good luck friend.
