Now granted I’m not a perfect poster but somebody who is clearly advertising spam keeps posting on all the school specific threads. It goes like “Hey, are you applying to _______ (school specific thread)? Hear from admissions dean @ website.” It’s annoying because if I’m trying to hear latest news from a school I click on thread and it’s just spam.

I agree.

It could’ve been the last czar of Russia, spam is spam.
Really??? A real, live admissions director linking to free, no charge, podcasts containing conversations with medical school admissions officers on the Student Doctor Network forums is spam, but random thoughts about awkwardness in social situations, applying to 30 inappropriate schools, and multiple other provocative, extremely humorous troll bait posts are not??? 🙂

Just to keep you aware, the “spam” posts to which you refer are posts from Christian Essman, Director of Admissions at CWRU, linking to his podcast episodes, which provide informative one-on-one conversations with Directors/Deans at other schools.
Any chance you have a link to that podcast? I didn’t get a chance to watch it (could tell it was legit not spam...) I am pretty sure my incessant posting is more spam than a legit admissions director...
