really :/ I hear its really hard, but I feel like a lot of dental schools are hard. I dont know if the three year program makes it ridiculous though. Now im a little nervous because it is/was my top choice but I really want to have the opportunity to specialize,
If your interested in OS UNLV is the place to go, because they don't have OS as a specialty program (yet, they're thinking about adding it, but it probably won't be soon) you get WAY more experience in OS...so if you're that committed UNLV is the place to go!Hi🙂 I was wondering what your opinions were for specializing at UoP versus UNLV. I also got into NYU. I am currently interested in Oral Surgery. If you have any suggestions please let me kmow😳😍
I dont doubt the experience of the last poster's friend; however, I have heard from many dentists that I've shadowed that their impression is alot of specialists come out of UoP. I've also heard they're P/F (confirm?).
hmm thanks for all the advice. This is so hard. I know I am prepared to work hard, which anywhere you have to to do good, let alone get into OS. But I just wanted to make sure at UoP its possible.
I am definitely leaning towards UoP but I hope I can manage and still make it into an OS program there.🙄
