Just to get a better idea of how competitive it is to get into these specialty programs. Does anyone know what percentage of students that apply for orthodontic, endodontic, pediatric and prosthodontic programs actually get in and how many don't. Is there someplace I can find this information? Thanks.

Dear ,

Getting in MS programs in Clinical areas are real tough. In Public Universities where there is less Tution & stipund is given Applicant to Seat ratio ids 20/1.... In Private Universities where Tution is high & no Stipunds, there are more chances. Specialities of Oral Surgery & Endodontics are most competetive!....Most importent factors are your GPA in Dental school, recommendation letters from Dental Faculty, your scores In National Boards/GRE etc & your Interview if short listed.
Visit the site www.dentalsite.cjb.net & click on Post Graduation & you will find a list all POst Graduate courses with admisson details
