Specific PA school question

Hi,

I'm currently a pre-PA student, and I'm applying to the program at Touro College in manhattan. Does anyone know anything good/bad about this program? Also, if I don't go there, I'll be heading into the St. Vincent's program, in Queens, NY. Any info on one program vs. the other?

The top PA programs in NYC are as follows:

SUNY Stony Brook PA program
Long Island University PA program <===== Best hands on clinical work. I would go with this one. Locations sux, but it is affordable and u actually learn something.

Cornell University PA program
NYIT Masters begining in Fall 2005 <====== Great location and campus out on Long Island.

The rest are not worth your time. I know a few PA's who have worked in the field and those are among the top with respect to training excellent PA's. The others let u become a PA, just not a good one. Touro is also racist, so if ure not Jewish, expect to be rectal examed at the interview. Dont forget the lube.

Thanks for trashing a school you obviously know nothing about, strong work. FYI: The vast majority of the students at Touro's 2 L.I. PA program are not Jewish. Not one single question about my religious beliefs at my interview, alot of questions about past experience and qualifications though. You sound like a bitter reject to me.

Dude, I know ure not telling me what did or did not happen. I went to the interview. I got in as well. They could take their acceptance letter and shove it as far as I am concerned. Then again, u gotta be muslim to understand the discrimination and I personally saw it first hand. But again, if u choose not to believe it, its all good. Im just putting in words what I saw go on from my own experience.

So, since you consider SUNY Stony Brook to have the top PA program, does that mean you graduated from their program or know someone that has? If so, what are you or he/she doing now as a PA?

You also mentioned that Cornell has a Masters program beginning this fall - their website does not discuss this. Can you provide any more details?
