Hi,

I usually listen to lectures via my recorder and that seems to cut down on my studying time a lot. However, I would like to study the material on paper as a review. Does anyone know of a good speech-to-text converter software (preferably free)?

Thanks!

Even the best speech recognition software probably won't be able to work off the kind of recording you're talking about. Typically, speech recognition applications require noise-canceling microphones and have to be trained to each speaker's voice.
