Speed Chess? List as hobby on Amcas

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey yall...I play 1 minute timed chess games online. I am pretty highly ranked. Is this a good hobby to list on my primary application? I could argue that it has sharpened my quick decision-making abilities...

This is the only unique hobby I feel I have. I like to also run, hike(been to almost every national park), and golf. But there is nothing unique about these activities.

What do you guys think?
Yes. A bit of the back story would be nice to see, too.

I think you want to mention all of your hobbies. Then elaborate as you see fit. Does it say they have to be unique hobbies? You might end up being interviewed by a golfer or a hiker and have some common ground.
Your hobbies look like a positive. Some kids play Video games 20 hours a week

What's your rating (approx) and is it from a reputable site? Is it above 2400? That would obviously be a great thing to put. On the other hand, if it's like 1700, anyone familiar with chess would raise some eyebrows as to why you put that and what other parts might be embelished. Mostly, I'm just curious what your rating is

I mean I played competitive ball in highschool and now play with the overweight men at the rec center, but its still a hobby despite how trash my jumper is. Don't think his rating matters

I'll pipe in here:

A hobby is just that. Successful or not, if you are passionate about it put it on the list. Just make sure they do see you have a sense of commitment to it. ( have you just picked it up, if so don't put it on, even if you are really good at it. In medicine, people want to see commitment, not sucess in every part of your life... I don't give a sht if you suck at racket ball, but I care if you show you are a consistent guy(gal) that will always be there... day in day out. )
