No. Don't worry about it. You used it only twice.

No, I left out a word in a secondary and still got an interview. They have more things to worry about than nitpicking our grammar.

Diagnoses is the pleural of diagnosis. Reread it and see if the plural fits, if so they might not ever know it was a typo/misspelling. ;)

As long as the word wasn't important...

Such as: Overall, I have learned many things along my journey towards medicine, but the culmination of all my abilities have come down to one specialized skill, a skill that will allow me to excel in any a career in medicine, a skill that will allow me to relate directly with patients, a skill that will allow me to manage my time efficiently and handle the rigors of operating a medical practice, the skill I have finally managed to add to my repertoire of abilities is (oops... got cut off... This missing word might hurt, or help just because they want to meet you to ask what the hell that 'skill' is... ha ha)

lol.

No worries! I wrote my secondary essays for UF in a word document (because that is the format of their secondary) and it turns out that somehow my spellchecker had shut itself off. Even though I had read through my essays three times, I somehow missed three very silly typos. I still got an interview...

I even found out after submitting my AMCAS that i had misspelled 'bureau' in the title of one of my activities. I guess that no one really knows how to spell bureau anyway.

Now I am curious; what is that skill?

You have to interview him to find out! Idiot or genius? You decide.

I know this is an old thread but I accidentally misspelled the word hospital in one secondary that asked to list my activities. My Microsoft word didn't pick it up because it was in all caps, reading HOSPTIAL rather than HOSPITAL. I know that my schools haven't read my application yet because they are waiting for my MCAT scores which are released on Tuesday. Should I attempt to change the error through admissions, or hope that it isn't noticed as it's in a long list of activities and is in capital letters on my application (so it isn't as noticeable)?

Start packing sunscreen.

Seriously, you'll be fine I'm sure it's a common mistake

As I just posted on a similar thread... I literally repeated the same THREE SENTENCES in one of my secondaries to a top mstp program ... Got invited for an interview for their first day. I think basically everyone else is fine if I was. Haaha.
