Guys I just did Achiever 3 and one of the things it says is Sperm cells DO NOT contain the X chromosome!!

How can this be??? I thought they either contain an X or a Y. If it contains why than the child will be a boy and if it is X than it is a girl! Am I missing something??

I can see how the question maight be a little confusing. I do however read it as "the sperm cell contains both an X and a Y chromosome (at the same time)" which is obviously not true.

The way you were probably thinking of it was "the sperm cell contains an X OR a Y chromosome"

You are right in thinking that the sex chromosome in the sperm determines the sex of the child. X making little hos and Y making little bros.

i just did the same question n i got the same question popped up, well if the question imply the sperms cell only contain either X or Y, then y doesn't the explanation said: "Sperm Cell--Does not contain X chromosome"?
