i aided my dentist in using the spit-sucker, but i don't know how to put that down in one of my secondary apps... so i just put down "provided basic chairside assistance" for now. would this be sufficient? or is there a better sounding term than "spit-sucking" hahahaha. i was going to ask my dentist that the next time i went in, but it won't be til next week :/

Actually...it's called a "Saliva Ejector" or "High Speed Evacuator"...Aspirator is generally used to describe the machine, even though pretty interchangeable

Lol, this thead is funny, I've never heard that term used before. My dentist calls it suctioning, and when the hygenist has small children in for cleanings she always says "here's mr. thirsty" to the kids.

I would say "during my shadowing experience with Dr_____, I was assigned as the Chief Excecutive Operator (CEO) of the Oral Vacumming Machine that remove the highly toxic and hazardous oral secretions from the patient's mouth in a safely manner. DP
