well so far its a whirwind of orientation-oriented stuff They seem real nice etc but until the boards are done, I'm sort of preoccupied. At least clinic will be light (i hope).

neither.
Im at the instructor level not assistant professor; the ranking goes instructor, assist.prof, assoc prof and prof (wherein you give up your first born). The second question seems to focus on if am I finessing or not. I don't finesse.

it depends; had i started at another place they offered me to start at assist. prof level because ive published quite a bit. At hopkins its slow and here seems even slower.
