Sports and Pharmacy?

Hi,
Is there a field or specialty that puts sports and pharmacy together, kind of like a sports medicine thing? I really enjoy sports and so I was wondering if there was a way to use a pharmD degree in the sports industry. Thanks.

There is a compounding pharmacist here in Arizona that does all the prescriptions for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs during spring training. The athletes often have high end prescriptions that require compounding. Because of his contract with the organizations, he is quite well off. He even has a salt water fish tank at his pharmacy! Now that is class!

I remember during the 2004 Summer Olympics that they interviewed a pharmacist in SoCal who specialized in compounding prescriptions for the numerous olympic athletes from SoCal.

that sounds like an awesome combo! that's why i love compounding b/c there's so much versatility in the profession.

does this professor have a website to learn about his line of work?
