Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on a more spread-out type of Boards study schedule. I plan on taking it in the Spring/early Summer of 2011 (Apr-May-June), but I'm currently wrapping up my PhD (in an md/phd program). Any advice?
The best as far as time for me would be doing around 2-3hrs studying per day, starting in the next month or 2, so I can be prepared by test time. I could/will definitely do some hardcore weekends as well.
Anyone else take this approach or something similar at all?
Any advice is tremendously appreciated!!!
Is there anything wrong with taking it in early spring? Are the exams any different at that time? Are the USMLE Gods harsh toward such test-takers on abnormal test dates?
What are some thoughts you guys have? Any good advice out there about this?
Thanks in advance!

P.S. Rough personal circumstances after completing second-year med school in the program really put me out of my mind and definitely not in the mindset to even be able to pass the Boards. So, I decided to put them off.....until now. With the impending culmination of my PhD, I'll definitely need to have my Boards out of the way b/f I go back to the wards!
