Spreadsheet for comparing residency programs

I doubt anyone will take my advice but when you get down to it, you should really go by the feel you had for the program. Whether you have 1 or 2 months in the ICU or whether you take call as a team vs alone isn't going to matter one bit.

What will matter is if you like the people you work with and if you will get a good education.

Otherwise, when you don't take my advice, I'd recommend you make your own spread sheet.

i agree with the above as well. I would write notes after/during interviews re: such details (although call and # of ward months I'm not sweating over, my theory is I'll show up to work when you tell me to). Then I'd look back on my notes and compare and realize it doesnt matter one bit, a place I liked I was willing to go to despite more call, a place I disliked I wouldn't go to even if it was tele medicine I could do from my bedroom.

My notes now consist of "Love it.. nice people" or "weird, wouldn't rank".
