I did not see one of these posted yet, so here it is! I found last semester this thread added just a wee bit of extra motivation to do better, and though I only got a 3.9(still pumped about that) it still felt good to post the results after all that hard work.

Spring 2014 semester classes:

Evolution w/lab
Chem II w/lab
Brain and Behavior (psy course)
Philosophy
Religion and Science

What courses are others taking?

Trigonometry
Organic Chem II w/lab
Undergrad research (for credit)

11 credits, also working F/T. Kick off on Friday morning!

4.0 for the last 3 semesters :hardy:
This semester will be:
Orgo 2 +Lab
Adv. Biochem +Lab
Cell & Molecular Bio
12 credits + Research (1 credit) + Internship at morgue (~10hrs/week) + relearning Physics + MCAT Prep

Physics 2 + lab
Chem 2 + lab
A demanding full-time job.

Anatomy & Physiology
Conceptual Physics
Biology of Aging
Infectious Disease
Working full time & 2 young kids

Ready to get started!!

4.0 last semester, only two grad classes due to work and budget, but very grateful cuz that last on came hard.

This semester just taking a Global Health seminar class most likely and that's pass fail. I'll still be on nights part of the semester and then days part of it with my new job so it was hard to schedule anything. After this only 9 credits left!

Good luck everyone!

32 credits so far with As.

Spring 2014
Physic 2 with lab
Orgo 2 (no lab, took 2 credits lab last semester)
start studying for mcat
2 jobs.....

Let's do it guys. All As. We can do it!!!

Are labs a no brainer for most of you? I curl up during my labs and can't seem to function properly. I get panick attacks and all.....Not being adequate enough/asking too many questions.

Just got my grade for my first class in my DIY postbac classes... Took a bio class over winter break and got an A!

Got me amped for my spring semester! How are classes starting out for everyone else?

Got an A for my winter session class as well, woohoo!

Snowed in for the day by this latest storm, so I'm getting ahead on homework.

...man, I never would've said that 15 years ago.

IN... Got a 4.0 in my first semester of my GPA redemption post-bacc. Only taking one 5 credit class this semester while studying for the MCAT, but hope to get an A in it to keep that 4.0 going!

O Chem I w/ lab
Physics I w/ lab
Calculus I
TX Govt
Speech Communication

Also working in an Analytical Chemistry Lab on my downtime.

I'd say for gen chem and bio the labs are quite straightforward. I have yet to take physics and orgo. I'm told that (at least at my uni) the upper level science labs require at least a decent amount of thought and take substantially more time to complete.

Life/work circumstances are trying to get in my way of getting a 4.0 this semester, but I won't let that happen! Hitting the books hard this weekend... Won't give in and definitely won't give up! Did well on my first set of exams though

How's everyone else doing??

Good so far! Not too excited to see my first test grade for gen Chem 2 on monday, but at least I know I need to spend more time on it.

Chem 1 w/ Lab
Biological Psychology
Sociology

This is my first semester into the post bacc. Its crazy that the semester is already half way done. Time flies!

I'm taking biological psychology (brain and behavior at my school) and it is my favorite class this semester! Good luck to you!

Grades coming in now! Just got my last one confirmed... Looking back to January when this started and happy to say 4.0 this semester for me!

I've now got 15 credits of straights A's in my postbac (3 winter 2014 and 12 spring 2012)

How did everyone else fare out this semester!

In late to this, but what the hell!

Took:
BIO127 Human Nutrition
SOC127 Marriage and Families

BIO to get me back into the scientific state of mind with a relatively easy class, and SOC as a retake for a C grade.

Aced both!

Studying can be fun when you have an actual goal in mind.

A- in Orgo 2 lab, A in everything else. :hardy: which is a 3.97 for the semester and a 3.99 for the postbacc overall.
This brings the cGPA from a 2.7 to a 3.12:soexcited:
